September 25, 2010 Fox 4 Love Fund 5K Walk/Run Cedar Creek ~ Olathe, Kansas

OLATHE, KAN. - The FOX 4 Love Fund 5K will be held in Olathe in 2010. It will be held in late September and we invite you to run or walk with us. When: Saturday, September 25, 8:05 a.m. Where: The Love Fund 5K is taking place through a paved course in Cedar Creek Community in Olathe, KS. K-10 & Cedar Creek Pkwy. Registration: Children 4-12 years old $20 Registration $30 Adult Online registration: www.sportkc.org Schedule: Sept. 25 (rain or shine) Late registration Warm-up begins at 6:30 a.m. 5K Run/Family Walk 8:05 a.m. Ceremony and Kiddie Dash immediately following the run/walk The Love Fund provides essential services to qualifying children ages 18 and under. The Love Fund works through third-party referrals and charitable organizations providing life-saving surgery, new clothing, eyeglasses, medical and dental assistance, school supplies and much more. When the Love Fund steps in, it simply means that a child's need has not been met by other funding sources. One hundred percent of the 5K entry fees go directly to help Kansas City kids in need.

Thank you so much to all the sponsors, participants and volunteers for making 2009's Walk/Run a success! With more than 750 runners and walkers, the Love Fund received over $50,000 to benefit the children who most need the help.

The Fox4 Love Fund 5K Walk/Run will be held at Cedar Creek in Olathe, Kansas.

Driving Directions: (coming from Overland Park/Kansas City area) Take I-435 to K-10 Highway to Cedar Creek Parkway. Follow the well-marked signs to the start of the race.
